Triple the Love Baby Shower

Triple the Love Baby Shower

I'm sooo happy with how the shower turned out. I really wanted it to go off with a bang and have it be a great experience for the guests.  This shower was such a group effort, everyone pulled together to make it an amazing day. After invitations went out, they set the tone for the ABC baby block, peach & mint theme.  We decided to go with "Triple the Love" and tried to incorporate the theme where we could.

All in all, there were close to 60 people who attended. We had some food catered and some made by family. There was a sweets table, a gift table and a photo op area. We had games and interactive activities. I was happy to see there was an even flow of the day.  Decor really set the tone and was executed well.  I want to thank all of my family and my husbands family for helping put this whole thing together.

Of course, I made my rounds. I wanted to greet each person that came and make everyone feel comfortable. Once again, I may have over done it, with prepping Thursday & Friday, but I'm glad it turned out the way it did.

A lot of guests traveled from out of town, which really made me feel the love. Family and friends who I hadn't seen in a while or since I've been pregnant and those who have never experienced seeing a woman pregnant with triplets really made me feel special. I really hope we didn't disappoint.

I didn't eat as much as I'd like, but the food and the sweets were good. It almost felt like a wedding, where I was in GO mode and needed to take some time for my self. There were a few games and plenty of gifts to open. The opening of the gifts were a little over whelming. Mainly because there were so many and we were on a little bit of a time crunch.  In the end, I tried to get as many pictures as possible, with hopes to make some type of photo album so we can look back at the day.

I made snap chat geo filters, which I didn't use as much as I'd like either, but it was pretty cool to have. Made me wonder if I should make one for the day the girls are born, but that may be too much, LOL.

After the clean up a few of the family made it back to the house. I was able to eat a little more and digest everything that just happened.

What a great day and so glad I have off on Monday to hopefully relax some!!!
