Dec 31 Halloween to the New Year, in the Blink of an EYE!

Annnddd just that quick Halloween happened! The girls were the cutest Peppa Pigs and Kanon was The Flash (not pictured). Needless to say it was a success! It was very fitting for Kanon to be The Flash this year, because, he was so fast on Halloween, I couldn’t get a picture of him, smh! He went from School, to Karate, to changing his clothes and going trick or treating. He loved it. I’m so glad it was a mild evening, weather wise because dad and him were able to go out in the neighborhood. Meanwhile it was the first time we gave out candy at the house. What a treat, literally for every person that came to our house. The girls and Bryant were giving out candy. As Bryant’s handing out candy the girls are equally giving out candy to the same people. By the time I got home, which was roughly an hour later, all the candy and fruit snacks were shockingly gone!!! No one rang the bell once I got home, so it all worked out. I got the Peppa Pig costumes from wholesalehalloweencostumes.com. I waited till the last minute because I was unsure what the girls should be, but it made total sense for them to be their favorite tv character this year. The package came super fast, after ordering and there were three! PERFECT! One less thing on my to-do-list. I cut out little teddy’s for each of them because of course they needed a prop. Whats Peppa with out her Teddy?! Right?!

Then … the girls get an audition, a call back, a fitting and an entire photo shoot (MAJOR!!!!) Four times up to NY with Bryant and my mother inlaw. A once in a life time opportunity and we can’t wait to share what it was for!!! I had no more sick or personal days left so I could only help with back end stuff. Hair, clothes, packing snacks and paper work… All the fun stuff. Bryant says the girls killed it! I’m sure they did ;) Proud parent moment for sure. Can’t wait to see what images get selected and how those images are going to get used!

Thanksgiving was low key. One of the girls were running a temp so it was good we literally went to a friends house to fry our turkey and came back home. Christmas was great, the girls still don’t know about all the ins and outs, but Kanon sure did. They opened their gifts, made a mess of the house and wanted each others toys. Actually glad it’s over. On to the new year, with today being New Years Eve, really wanted to make sure I got the post in before 2020 hit!!! Not a lot of resolutions, just want to try not to be too hard on myself with time management. Sign up for a few races and get my to-do-list done sooner than later. Visit friends and family and be more present! Its hard to get everything done in the same 24 hours Beyonce has but we try don’t we??? 2020 will be a great year!
